For this exciting project, a few of us were tasked with creating custom instruments in support of the Fender Play Foundation, an organization that operates music education programs for elementary and middle school students in Los Angeles. I collaborated with Pepe Arean on the ukulele, and this concept was selected and subsequently hand-painted by one of Fender's in-house artists.
